MLA Jammu east Rajesh Gupta attended an independence day function at Govt.Girls Middle School Dhontly Julaka Mohalla as the chief guest.The function was marked by cultural programme in which patriotic songs were sung and dance items were played by the students. ZEO Neelam Kumari Pandita also participated in the function.
The prominent among the school staff who participated included Smt.Shakti Sharma Headmistress, Aditya Handa and other members of the staff of middle school Dhontly. Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the occasion said that we have won our independence after great sacrifices and it is the duty of each and every individual to safeguard it by his character and devotion to duty. Rajesh Gupta said that he is happy with the patriotic fervor of these young children and this should give us enough confidence that our country is in safe hands. Developmental activities would go on un abated despite challenges and India would emerge even stronger in the coming days. The prominent who accompanied the MLA included senior BJP leaders Dalip Gupta,Shashi Sapolia,Rajinder Sikka,Ravi Singh, Gokul Koul,Rajinder Gupta,P.C.Gupta,Rajesh Nischal,Ramesh Gupta and Pardeep Langeh.
