Hon’ble MLA Jammu East Rajesh Gupta inaugurated a very important work of the laying of 8 inch water pipe from Dhontli Bazar to Julaka Mohalla.
The work is estimated to cost rupees 9 lakhs and would be completed in 15 days time. People of the area heaved a sigh of relief as the old pipe was worn out and in a highly dilapidated condition.
Jammu East has witnessed a lot of development in so far as the water supply is concerned ever since Rajesh Gupta has taken over as the MLA .Only recently another important water pipe was laid from Peer Kho to Julaka Mohalla.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the ocassion said that on Monday a new tube well would be inaugurated in Jammu east.This tube well is estimated to cost rupees 1 to 1.5 crores and the work on the project would begin on coming Monday. Land for the tube well project is already selected .
Rajesh Gupta said that once this project is installed Jammu east would be free from any water problem.
The officials who accompanied the MLA included the Xen PHE Virender Khajuria and AEE Sanjeev Gupta and senior BJP leaders Sanjay Mahey,Sanjeev Gupta and Sunil Sharma.
The prominent who participated in the function included Prof. Shyam,Ashwani Sharma, Anil Masoom,Rajesh,Ram Prashad,Lalit,Shashi Sapolia,Langeh,Rajinder, Gokul Koul,Ajay,Vipan,Krishan Kapoor,Ramesh,Chaman Lal, Raj Kumar, Ravi Singh and Nischal.
