Sh. Rajesh Gupta MLA paid Floral Tributes to Martyrs , inaugurated Free Medical camp to mark martyrs day.
Like every year Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh Foundation organized a function to pay tributes to national heroes Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh , Rajguru and Sukhdev on their martyrs day i.e.23rd March at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chowk, Jammu.
Speaking on the occasion Sh. Rajesh Gupta MLA Jammu East said that Shaheed Bhagat Singh Rajguru and Sukhdev sacrificed their lives for the freedom of country from clutches of The British rulers who were the most powerful nation of that time. He further said that this is our duty to protect the freedom attained by the supreme sacrifices given by the trio. He added that Bharat is a young nation. We have 65% youth of total population in our nation. He said that independence is attain not by Mahatma Gandhi . It was the pressure because of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and his associates upon British government because of which we become independent. He stressed upon the youth to follow the path shown by the martyrs and remain away from social evils such as drugs.
Earlier he inaugurated the free medical camp organized by Government Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu. In this camp more than 1300 people benefitted from the camp. Sh.Rajesh Gupta MLA appreciated Dr. Taran Singh Medical Superintendent and the staff of the Govt. Ayurvedic hospital who rendered their services for the successful camp.
