RSS a Supreme Nationalist Organization: Prof. Virender

Congress Indulges in nefarious, anti-national designs

J&K BJP spokesperson, Prof. Virender Gupta strongly condemned the statement of Gulam Nabi Azad of equating RSS with worldwide hated and condemned ISIS organizations which is responsible for the recklessly and ruthlessly murder of thousands of human beings in the name of Jehad and has posed a great threat to the humanity. He said that the congress party which is losing its credibility and base in the country day by day, has adopted nefarious and anti- national designs to support anti-nationalism and communal forces in the country to re-capture its footing in the masses as is obvious from its support to the students raising slogans for the destruction of the country in Jawaharlal Nehru University and now equating RSS with ISIS. Prof. Virender said in these negative efforts of the congress party is going to erode its base further and shall prove to be suicidal for its very existence.
He said RSS is an organization which right from 1925 when it was founded has engaged itself for the cause of character building and the nation building and has extended its support to the society and the country on the crucial occasions and added that Its volunteers selflessly rendered their services to help the people during national calamities like floods, earthquakes and famines etc. Prof. Virender reminded Azad that the organization also stood to the call of the nation during the wars of 1947, 1962, 1965 and 1971 and further reminded him that in 1962 Pt. Nehru called upon the RSS to ask its volunteers to participate in the Republic Parade in order to boost the morale of public after the defeat in 1962 war with China and on the request of Lal Bhadur Shastri, RSS volunteers assisted the police in maintaining law and order and control the traffic in Delhi. He said that it acted as a saviour to the refugees in 1947 and stood by the side of Kashmiri Pandits and others who had to bear the brunt of communalism and regionalism and were forced to vacate their native lands in Azad Bharat.
Prof. Virender said that having unblemished record of its selfless service to the humanity without any religious, regional and caste bias and supreme patriotism among its volunteers, the organization was lauded by people like Madan Mohan Malvia, Mahatma Gandhi, Subash Chandra Bose, Ram Manohar Lohia and Jai Praksh Naryan apart from other luminaries of the country. He added that equating RSS with ISIS is foolish on the part of Gulam Nabi Azad and it shows that how much stoop low a leader like Azad can go for the sake of Vote bank politics.
