BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma CA, while addressing “Karyakarta Sammelan” of Sunderbani District and its Mandals, exhorted the party activists to gear up for the elections of ULBs and Panchayats. He said that the BJP has been writing one chapter after the other and the recent poll results in Assam are the clear indicators that the people are rejecting Congress in particular. He said that the wave in favour of BJP is also visible in Jammu and Kashmir as it won 3 Lok Sabha seats followed by victory in 25 seats in the assembly and the moral of our party activists is very high. “ BJP will again repeat history in the elections of ULBS and Panchayats and to achieve this everyone has to gear up political activists without wasting a minute”, Sat said and added that the achievements of two years rule of Narendra Modi government at the centre and those of PDP-BJP coalition in the state have induced a senses of stability among the masses.
Sat Sharma said that Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, Jan-Dhan Yojna, PM Fasal Beema Yojna, Atal Pension Yojna, Mudra Bank, Beti Bachao Beti Padao, Sukanya Smridhi Yojna, PM Ujawala Project, PM Awaas Yojna, Make in India, Digital India, Start Up-Stand Up India, Udaan Scheme, are some of the pioneering projects and schemes, which have been launched during the two years by Narendra Modi government and our party activists should educate the masses about them and help in getting the benefits of the same. Similarly, our party activists should also highlight the developmental projects and welfare schemes of the state’s coalition government.
As it was the first visit of Sat Sharma after taking over as State President, he was given warm reception on his arrival to the sammelan venue.
Vice-Chairman of Board for Development of Pahari Speaking People, Kuldeep Raj Gupta, spoke on various path breaking initiatives taken by the Board, wherein record number of scholarships and other benefits have been provided to the students.
BJP State Vice-President & Prabhari Sunderbani Nowshera District Yudhvir Sethi said that the party has a very strong hold in entire length and breadth of the district and the party activists have to further strengthen it.
State Secretary Sanjay Baru said that the enthusiasm among the party activists in the district has to be utilized for achieving more success in future elections and the local leadership should encourage activists at Booth, Mandal and District level.
Local MLA Ravinder Raina said that the constituency remained ignored and discriminated in matters related to development but during last over one year every effort is being to ensure that each area is treated equal and the people get the required basic facilities. He assured to continue to work for the people as they have posed faith in him and rejected other parties and their candidates.
District President Capt. Som Dutt and senior leader Capt Ramesh Lal also addressed the sammelan.
