BJP State President & MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma visited Ward no. 32 area of Gole in Jammu West Constituency to address a group of people assembled over there regarding the revenue problem of a land area.
The local people claimed that they used to play in the open fields since early 80s situated in a piece of land in Gole area belonging to the the Government registered under Revenue record with Khasra No. 746. Then during the course of time in late nineties the locals were allotted 25 kanals of land for the playing field by the Deputy Commissioner (DC), Jammu. The DC office then sought and received NOCs from 11 departments, even the NOC from general public so that no body lays claim on the said piece of land later.
Now all of a sudden the land mafia in connivance with the some influential persons initiated the work on the junk of land with the Dumpers which the locals resisted and informed the local MLA Sat Sharma, who very promptly turned up along with the police Department, the Revenue officials and lot of local Political Activists.
Sat Sharma took very serious note of the matter and ordered immediate stoppage of the work till the issue is resolved and the area is demarcated for the allotted piece of land for the playing field. He assured the local people that soon the issue will be taken care of and said that the playing field is very important for the intellectual and physical development of the young population of the country. He immediately issued directions to the Administration to inquire the whole matter in a time bound manner and said that otherwise the case will be soon referred to the Vigilance Department for investigation.
He said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken a pledge to progress India to the top slot in the world, for which he is working very hard. Thus nobody from the BJP will allow any type of work which can hinder the development works of the Nation. The assemblage of more than three hundred locals then disbursed peacefully after getting assurance from the MLA.
