Sat Sharma starts developmental works at Shakti Nagar

With a mission of improving the infra up to ground level, State President BJP and MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) kick started construction works at Lane Number 2 of Ward 29 Shakti Nagar area of his Assembly segment. A large number of people including JMC (Jammu Municipal Corporation) officials, local residents of the area and political activists accompanied the BJP leader during his visit in the area where he started the developmental works.

The works will be done under the supervision of JMC at an estimated cost of Rupees 10 lakhs covered under the stage works which will also include repairs and renovations of other small works in the area.

The BJP President also toured the adjoining lanes as well and interacted with the locals residing in the area where he also inquired about the grievances of the masses. The locals of the area apprised him of the problems concerning sanitation problem in some parts of the area to which the BJP MLA on spot directed the sanitation officer of JMC to daily check and update him about the sanitation condition of not only Shakti Nagar but all 26 wards of Jammu West Assembly segment.

He stated that our Prime Minister has seen a vision of clean and green India and it becomes moral duty of all of us to contribute something in the noble cause so that our nation could flourish as a beautiful nation in the coming times. He directed the sanitation officer to cover all 26 wards of Jammu West Assembly segment and deploy maximum number of Safai Karamacharis in every nook and corner of Jammu West so that masses do not suffer .

He also directed the concerned civil officials of JMC to prepare estimates of remaining works soon and those works whose estimates have been prepared should be started soon in order to avoid public inconvenience.

He also stated that under the plan decided for development in Jammu West, in coming days the works concerning ERA, PWD, JMC, PHE, PDD will be kept on priority in the areas where these works are required and it will be seen that they are also completed within a limited time frame so that a major boom could be given to the ground level development in Jammu West Assembly segment.
