Promoting the vision of creating a clean and green India, State President BJP and MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) started “Swach Bharat Mission” and medicinal plants were also planted at Master Devi Chand Municipal Park, Rehari Colony. The program was organized by “Jyothy Laboratories Limited”, a renowned name in fast moving consumer group (FMCG) companies. A large number of people including the management of the company, local residents and many political activists were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that the initiative taken by Prime Minister to make a clean and green nation is one of its own kind and each and every person must contribute to attain this mission so that by year 2019, India should become clean and green under the mission of “Swach Bharat”.
He stated that to make this Municipal Park clean and for its development, CDF (Constituency Development Fund) of around Rupees Five Lakhs has been given by him for its up gradation and the works for the same will be started soon when the tender process is over which will boost in providing basic amenities to the masses at their doorsteps.
The BJP leader also stated that the formation of new Government in the State will also help in reducing the burden of masses and will surely work for the betterment of the society by creating best infrastructure for the masses.
