Ankush Gupta appreciate the efforts of the young team of Gorkha Nagar who inspite of having very limited resources, have organised the Ram Lilla for the first time.
While addressing the gathering, Ankush said in today’s life, when no one has the time to read the ancient scriptures for knowing about the life of Lord Rama and there are very less sources remained with us, which can tell us about our history or the great stories of our lords, Ramleela plays a very important part in spreading the awareness among the masses about the importance of birth and life of Lord Rama on earth. It is also a source of entertainment and fun for the audience while learing about the life of Lord Rama.
He further said, Ramleela is a ten days long celebration, which starts from the first day of Navratri and commences on the day of Dussehra which is celebrated to honor Lord Rama for his triumph of good over evil.
He also assured the organizers of his full support and help in organizing Ramleela in the coming years.
