Jammu East MLA and party chief whip Rajesh Gupta visited the Women Entrepreneurship Development Centre to see the ongoing works and have an on the spot observation of various projects undertaken by the centre.
Rajesh Gupta was informed by the officials of the Entrepreneurship Development Centre that the value of the projects in hand is approximately 17 crores.The officials of the Industry Deptt. General Manager Ashwani Khajuria, Sicop Manager Rajan Sharma and the members of the Central Market Association Exhibition Ground including Pramod Kapahi,Sd. Sarbjeet Singh,Raj Kumar Gupta, Gowri Shankar, Sanjay Ghai,Pawan Gupta,Ajeet, Rakesh Chibbar and Dheeraj Pargal.
The members of the Central Market Association Exhibition Ground while interacting with the visiting MLA raised the issue of the retaining wall of the road that was a cause of concern for the business people of the area.The MLA gave the directions to start the work immidiately within a span of 30 days and report to him about the progress of the work periodically.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the occasion said that the the businesses of the Exhibition Ground have played an important role in creating an industrial culture in the area. Rajesh Gupta laid emphasis on the rapid industrialization of the state in order to create job opportunities for the talented youth of the area. Rajesh Gupta also laid emphasis about the cleanliness of the areas in and around the Exhibition Ground and encouraged the members of the association to undertake Swatchta Abhiyan in the area.
