In continuance to the agenda of providing every essential service in the areas of Jammu West, BJP State President & MLA, Sat Sharma allocated funds for the construction of a community bathroom especially for ladies in the cremation ground situated at Om Nagar area in Ward No. 32 of Constituency in the presence of local BJP leaders and a large number of local residents hailing from the area and dedicated it to the local population.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that it was a long pending, genuine demand of the residents of the area for the construction of a community bathroom especially for ladies and the provision of tootiyan in the cremation ground situated in the area. It was brought to the notice of MLA that even the ladies were the worst sufferers of the situation due to the lack of the facility, for which they used to visit the banks of Tawi river, which was very uncomfortable at many a situations, but now, the MLA said that the much sought relief will be provided to the local residents by the construction of the bathroom in the premises itself. The new bathroom, he said, will provide a safer, healthy and uninterrupted stock of water supply for the community.
Sat briefed that, this bathroom will be constructed with the help of JMC department and the cost, which is approximately 4 lakh rupees, is provided from the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) of the MLA. He said that the this place is the ultimate destination of a man, so basically everybody gets to introspect his or her deeds, done during all the worldly affairs. He also emphasized that he will leave no stone unturned in the service of the masses, with, whatever resources, he has.
BJP District President Ayodhya Gupta, Jeet Angral, Adv. Rajesh Gupta, Sat Pal Karlupia, Tilak Gupta, Gurcharan Singh, Satish Verma, Gaga Ram, Kiran Wali, Krishan Lal, Kanchan Sharma, Santosh, Arti, Naeelam, Santokh Singh, Budhi Chand, Ankush Sharma and several others were also present on the occasion.
