MP Rajya Sabha Shamsher Singh Manhas along with BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma and other senior BJP leaders released a book entitled “Rising Kashmir—a mega exhibition”.
While speaking on the book release function, Shamsher Singh Manhas, said that this book has been released with a mission to extend the reach of public welfare schemes started by the Government of India under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the programmes are being conducted throughout India for the promotion of Centrally sponsored schemes and to take the benefits of these to the doorsteps of the general public. He said that in this series first exhibition was conducted in Kashmir to apprise the common masses of the achievements of the government and prompting them to take their advantage.
Manhas said that all the achievements and the schemes have been included in the programme like the feast of record setting number of satellites sent into space by ISRO, extraordinary success of DRDO in the indigenous military apparatus, the increased speed of works by R&B department making roads at the rate of nearly 21 kilometres per day so on. This programme will further make sure the implementation of the government policies with desired schemes. He said that works of 16 Ministries have been included in this mega exhibition through the NGO “SANSA Foundation”, which is a non-profit company and has been incorporated with the main objective of working for the betterment of the society and people of our country.
Sat Sharma, while speaking during function, said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has led India into an era of development and growth. He said that today the youth of India has started to develop faith on the political system of the Nation. He said that this endeavour is a try to open the doors, which were closed for the common masses due to the difficult systems within the government administration till date, so that everybody has an access to the government policies and schemes with complete knowledge of them
Karan Singh, Sanjay Baru, Dr. Krishan Bhagat, Ch. Vikram Randhawa, Balbir Ram Rattan, Suraj Singh, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra and others were among the prominent leaders present during the book release function.
