Union MoS Dr. Jitendra Singh has congratulated the people of Kathua district for having got Shahpur-Kandi Dam and Ujh Multipurpose project.
Minister for Forest & Environment, Chaudhary Lal Singh has lauded the clearance of these projects and thanked Union MoS Dr Jitendra Singh for his sustained continuous efforts to accomplish this.
Shahpur-Kandi Dam will result in providing irrigation to over 80,000 acres of land, the Ujh Multipurpose project will be a game changer for the areas covered mainly under Kathua district, and also to an extent under Samba and Jammu districts.
