Minister of PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control Sham Choudhary, during his sitting at Kachi Chawni office of BJP on Saturday, was approached by a number of deputations and apprised of their grievances related to Minister’s own and other departments. A number of individuals also met Sham Choudhary for on the spot redressal of the grievances related to PHE and Irrigation & Flood Control. The Chief Engineer, Executive Engineer and other senior officials of PHE were also present during the sitting of their minister.
For the problem related to supply of water as narrated by a deputation of the Kashmiri migrants, the minister directed the Executive Engineer to personally look into the matter on priority.
Sham Choudhary, while speaking to the people who took up their grievances with him, said that the elected representatives of BJP, some of whom are ministers in the coalition government in Jammu & Kashmir, are very much concerned towards the problems being faced by the people and working round the clock to ensure that the people get a corruption free good governance which works for the development of all the three regions of the state besides accelerating various welfare schemes launched for the benefit of the poor and downtrodden sections of the society.
Sham Choudhary said that the BJP has directed its ministers to be available at Jammu for personally meeting the people and see to it that no one is made to suffer. He said that a large number of people visit BJP office daily to meet the ministers, which itself shows that the people have faith in the party working and its ministers and are sure that their voice will be heard more effectively.
BJP State Secretary Sanjay Baru, District Presidents Baldev Singh Billawaria and Ayodhya Gupta assisted the minister during his pubic darbar.
