Shiv public higher secondary school sari Rakwala Jammu organized a Drawing competition on the eve of “Yaad Karo Kurbani” to remember our freedom fighters who laid the foundation of Independent India. State President BJYM Dr. Suresh Ajay Magotra was chief guest on the occassion and Managing Director Shiv Public School Jammu Sh. Shiv Dev Singh Salaria was Guest of Honour.
State BJYM President Dr. Suresh Ajay Magotra inaugurated the function and distributed colors and drawing pads to the students. More than 150 students from the different classes participated in the event.
The first prize of the Drawing competition was clinched by Rashmi Rajput while 2nd and 3rd prize went to Juhi Manhas and Tanvi Sharma respectively.
Speaking on the occasion Dr. Magotra said that it was a good initative by Mr. Shiv that a Drawing competition was organized on such a wonderful programme, ”Yaad Karo Kurbani” initated by our central government and to celebrate this festival with the future of the nation will definetly give fruitful results in the progress of our nation. Magotra advised to students that whether you become Doctor , Engineer, Enterpreneur or take any other profession, your first aim should be to serve the nation.
Dr. Magotra further said that as our Hon’ble Prime Minister has set a dream to make India clean under “Swaach Bharat Abhiyan” so being the future of the Nation it becomes moral responsibility of students to clean their surroundings and make this dream come true.
He also said that the present Young Generation is now a days envolved in “Chemical Drug Culture” and we have to fight against this planned conspiracy of antinational elements who are hell bent to spoil our young treasure.
Sh. Shiv Dev Singh Salaria thanked Dr. Magotra for giving such a wonderful opportunity to organize this competition and than grace the occasion by becoming the part of this function.State Secretary BJYM Rahul Vaid was also present in the function.
