Shri Yudhvir Sethi appeals masses to vote massively for strengthening three-tier democracy in J&K

KATHUA: People should come out in large number for voting in the last phase of District Development Council (DDC), Elections which aims to strengthen the three tier democracy at grass roots level in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir, said Shri Yudhvir Sethi, J&K BJP Vice President and Prabhari Kathua district while interacting with people here today.

Shri Yudhvir Sethi said that in the last seven phases of DDC polls, people have massively turned out for voting and shown massive faith in the policies of BJP. “Keeping in view the achievements and developmental works taken up by the BJP led government at the Center and UT of J&K; people of the UT have developed utmost faith in BJP govt,” Shri Yudhvir Sethi said and added that the promises they made to the people have been successfully fulfilled in due time.

While for the last 70 years, Shri Yudhvir Sethi said that the people were deprived of even basic amenities by the successive governments but BJP when came in power in the year 2014 changed the scenario of administration towards development and governance.

Besides the number of welfare schemes for the benefit of people; Shri Yudhvir Sethi said that BJP has taken up enormous developmental works to the forefront across the UT of J&K which were left languishing by for decades by the successive regimes.

He said that since the DDC elections are being held first time in J&K with due efforts of BJP and these are the major elections conducted after the abrogation of Article 370, public participation is being witnessed all time high which implies that the efforts of BJP government are reaping fruits and peace is prevailing in the UT.

For the overall good of J&K and Jammu division which was discriminated by the side centric politicians in particular; the people should come out overwhelmingly for turnout and vote on the development works to strengthen the three tier democracy in the region.
