BJP State Working Committee Member Tanveer Baba, in a Statement issued today, said that the statement that Kashmiri women are being raped has hurt the sentiments of Kashmiri women. Kashmiri women have been always lived keeping their heads high. Nobody on earth can rape Kashmiri women. This is unacceptable. Army is a disciplined force that assist people in additional to their duty. Kashmiri women have understood silence on this issue by political parties like National Conference and Congress.
Tanveer Baba said that Omar Abdullah says that Ghulam Nabi Azad will have to touch the feet of PDP in Rajya Sabha, but reverse happened. Touch feet politicians have not said a single word on statement maligning Kashmiri women. Kashmiri women have now understood the politics of NC and Congress. It is seen that they have supported the irresponsible statement. This shows their callous attitude towards Kashmiri women who have been target of militancy for last twenty five years. The people of Kashmir have suffered and nobody should sprinkle salt on their wounds. There is need to identity the culprits and their supporters who have raised finger on Kashmiri women. Kashmiri women will have to stand up now and show their strength and defeat such people and supporters.
