Must avail government aid for becoming self reliant
J&K SC, ST, BC Development Corporation Limited, Vice-Chairperson Balbir Rattan, today implore upon the educated youth to avail the monetary assistance from the financial institutions to stand on own by setting up their bread earning small scale units in the areas of their respective interests. The VC asserted that it is all about taking right decision at the right and in right direction as there are plenty of opportunities, which they can avail with government’s assistance. Instead of waiting only for jobs, the youth should get acquainted with such aid and assistance from many windows of the government and based on the information make up their mind for starting own units, he said adding that time is very precious and it should not be wasted.
Talking to a group of youth, who had come to Corporation’s Head office at Jammu to get information regarding loan facilities, Balbir Ram Rattan told them that judicious use of time by the educated unemployed youth can bring progress and prosperity not only in their own lives but can prove to be boon for their families as well. He further said that a number of financial institutions are working for the sole purpose of providing monetary help to the unemployed males and females so that they are in a position to choose any field of their choice and take initiative to be self reliant. It is not so that government provides loan facilities to reserved categories but general categories too have the facility through different institutions.
These youth led by Keshav Chopra, BJP Talab Tillo Mandal Vice President, were briefed about the centrally-sponsored schemes as well as those run by the Jammu & Kashmir government in detail by the VC of the Corporation, who advised them to take a decision for a better future without wasting their energy in unproductive things.
Balbir Ram Rattan further said that youth constitutes 60% population of the country and their role in nation building is splendid to contribute in making India as strong, prosperous and world leaders, a dream which is often emphasized by none other than the Prime Minister of this country, which is why the government is paying attention to make them self reliant as far as earning livelihood is concerned.
