Stating that the Narendra Modi government at the centre has strengthened the faith of people in BJP, Member of Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma, said that it has happened due to the good governance, coupled with corruption free administration during these three years.
Jugal was addressing a massive public rally at RS Pura organised in connection with three years of Modi government, alongwith BJP State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul, District Prabhari & MLC Vikram Randhawa, local MLA Dr. Gagan Bhagat and other leaders.
Speaking on the occasion, Jugal Kishore said that different Ministries of Narendra Modi Government have launched various schemes aimed at the empowerment of villages and poor for New India. Work is on fast pace to provide electricity to the remotest part of the country. Five Districts of the State have been covered under all round development of girls of eleven to eighteen years of age. “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” is a flagship programme to address declining child sex ratio covered fifteen districts. A package of Rupees two thousands crore for providing financial assistance to POJK, 1965 and 1971 Displaced Persons. Smart Cities to Jammu and Srinagar, extension of National Food Security Mission to J&K, Udaan scheme for educated youth, are few among dozens of mega projects and welfare schemes of Modi government.
Ashok Koul said that BJP is a party based on organizational structure. It was formed on certain principles and mission to serve the people unlike other political parties which came into existence for the purpose to acquire power and wealth through any means. PM Narendra Modi is a perfect example of a saint, who has taken a pledge to root out corruption and provide a people friendly pro poor government. One Rank One Pension, PM Fasal Beema Yojna, enhancement of emoluments of SPOs, are the gifts of PM Modi to the people.
Choudhary Vikram Randhawa, while addressing the gathering, said that under the present Modi Government at the centre, it has become culture for the cadre of the party to perform so that the works of the public welfare are visible to everyone. He asserted that BJP is duty bound to listen to the public grievances and help in mitigating the woes of the people.
Dr. Gagan Bhagat, while addressing the public, thanked the government at the centre for taking keen interest in providing good connectivity of road and communication to the rural areas, initiating special schemes for rural population and border people. He said that he has always served in his constituency not as a MLA but as a social worker. He further said that in addition to the progress works from his Constituency Development Fund, he has been working round the clock to take Centrally Sponsored Schemes for the welfare of the public at their door steps.
State Media Secretary Suraj Singh, District President Brijeshwar Rana, Mahila Morcha State Secretary & District Prabhari Monika Sharma, Mandal Presidents Natha Ram and Devinder were among the prominent leaders who also addressed the gathering.
