A meeting of BJP Jammu West District under District President Ayodhya Gupta was held at party headquarters, wherein threadbare discussions were held regarding on going “Jan Vishwas Yatra” and the ULB elections.
Ayodhya Gupta, while addressing the meeting, said that the recently launched “Jan Vishwas Yatra” at booth level in respective Mandals of the states has been getting over whelming response from the people as they have been convinced of the pro-people, pro-development and nation-centric policies and programmes of the BJP-led NDA government at the centre and the previous BJP-PDP coalition government in the state.
He said that a number of developmental projects and welfare schemes have been launched across the county and Jammu & Kashmir has even got more from the centre. He said that our party activists have to now highlight these achievements in the public and the said yatras are one such mean to get an opportunity to reach the masses at the lowest level.
Ayodhya Gupta also expressed concern over some alleged discrepancies in the voter lists and asked the party activists of Jammu West District to compile all such details related to it so that the same are taken up with the concerned authorities.
