Honourable MP Rajya Sabha Shamsher Singh Manhas and MLA Jammu East Rajesh Gupta attended the function.
On the ocassion the visiting guests listened to the problems faced by the evacuee property holders for the last 68 years.
The members of the association felicitated the MP Rajya Sabha Shamsher Singh and MLA Rajesh Gupta on the ocassion.
While speaking on the ocassion Shamsher Singh Manhas said that he is vice chairman of the comittee named the enemy property act in the parliament and is also cognizant of the problems faced by the evacuee tenants and would use all his powers to solve them.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the ocassion said that he has been fighting for the rights of evacuee tenants even when he was a corporator. Now as the MLA of the same area he is very much cocerned about the issues concerning the evcuee tenants.
Rajesh Gupta said that he has held many meetings with the higher officials regarding the problems faced by the custodian property holders and he thanked the central government especially the MP Rajya Sabha Shamsher Singh Ji for taking keen interest in the matter.
A memorandum was also presented to the honourable MP on the ocassion by Rajinder Gupta and Prof.Shyam.
