Ajatshatru Singh inaugurates development works in Nagrota

Former Cabinet Minister and Member Legislative Council, M K Ajatshatru Singh toured Kanna Chargal Upper and adjoining areas in Nagrota and inaugurated various development works executed through his Constituency Development Fund , here today.
Ajatshatru inaugurated lanes and drains at Kanna Chargal Upper and addressed a well attended gathering near Panchayat Ghar. He spoke at length about various central and state government schemes for the welfare of the people and implored upon the youth to get better awareness about these schemes so that they are able to get maximum benefits from these schemes. He also discussed various development issues in the area and promised his whole-hearted support for development of the area. Prominent residents of the area thanked him for his keen interest in the area and requested him for upgradation of High School Kanna Chargal to Higher Secondary School. The legislator promised to take up the matter with the concerned minister on priority.
Later, the legislator inaugurated a power transformer in Village Mela of the same panchayat. While addressing the gathering at this venue Ajatshatru reiterated his unconditional love for the people of the constituency and assured all possible help in mitigating their woes. A large number of people put forth their demands before the legislator and requested him to ensure better development in the area. Ajatshatru while assuring people of more developmental works warned them against falling prey to the propagandist politics and asked them to focus only on development agenda of the present government. He said that the central government is sanctioning a large number of projects for the state and people should not get misled by those claiming credit for centrally funded schemes.
