BJP Talab Tillo Mandal President Jeet Angral, alongwith local leaders and the residents, visited Krishna Nagar W.No. 12 to take stock of the various developmental activities being undertaken there. He also visited Jamita Shah Gali, where new work is going to be started soon.
Jeet Angral, while speaking to the people, said that on the directions of Jammu West Assembly MLA & BJP State President Sat Sharma (C.A.), work for the construction of lanes in Krishna Nagar has been undertaken and three lanes have been completed while work on fourth is in progress.
Angral also displayed the official letter of approval for the construction of Jamita Shah Gali and said that it was approved few months ago but the work could not start due to the rains, which could have hampered the smooth execution and also damage/waste the raw material. Now since the monsoon is almost over, this work is going to be started within next few days. He said that it is the only main entrance to Krishna Nagar interiors and always has rush of vehicles and the people residing in and around Jamita Shah Gali. He appealed the local people to cooperate by parking their vehicles at some alternate places for few days when the construction of this lane is started so that there is no obstacle in its proper construction. He said that whatever developmental activity has been started in Krishna Nagar, there has been strict vigil on the quality of the work. He expressed hope that W.No.12 will continue to get adequate share in matters related to developmental works.
Local leaders and people including Swarn Sambyal, Dr. Surjeet Singh, Khem Raj, Babby Ram, Ashok Kumar, Deepak Kumar, Chander Shekhar accompanied the Mandal President.
