BJP State Secretary & BJP Jammu Rural District Prabhari Aseem Gupta, during his day long touring of Dansal Mandal alongwith State Executive Member Nand Kishore and District President Omi Khajuria chaired and addressed a meeting of the local people, took stock of their day to day problems and assured them to take up the same with the concerned authorities so that people are not made to suffer any more. The meeting was convened by Mandal President Satish Sharma.
Aseem Gupta, Nand Kishore and Omi Khajuria also distributed cheques under “Widow Pension Scheme” among the widows and said that the government at the Centre under Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the coalition government in Jammu and Kashmir is deeply concerned for the social and economic upliftment of the women. They said that during the last two years the Modi government has launched more than 52 welfare schemes and a large number of them are exclusively for women. The BJP leaders stressed upon the party activists to provide the details of all such schemes to the people so that they can avail their benefits.
The BJP leaders also distributed saplings of plants to encourage the people for plantation drive in their areas.
Balvir Singh, Rohit Verma, Gulshan Bhagat and Shamsher Kumar also addressed the meeting.
