‘BJP committed to uplift Kashmiris’
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul today met a number of delegations from different parts of Kashmir Valley, and gave patient hearing to their grievances at party office, Jawahar Nagar here.
The delegations put the grievances and issues faced by people in their respective areas that have been arisen due to heavy snowfall before Koul. “Today since early in the morning till late evening I met scores of delegations from different walks of life and from different areas and listened the issues and problems faced by them in their areas due to heavy snowfall,” Koul said, adding, BJP is committed to address their grievances and genuine issues.
The delegations informed that people are facing power crisis, water scarcity and other day to day issues in most of the places and appealed him to redress the same. “Most of the link roads in the rural areas have not been clear yet because of which people face hardship to move from one place to another- particularly patients to hospitals,” Koul said.
He also said: “I have received the feedback from these delegations and will forward their problems to the concern ministers, so that the grievances are addressed on time,” he added.
He also said that there are scores of centrally as well as state sponsored schemes meant for general public and assured them their genuine issues would be addressed by properly using these schemes.
Koul further said, “BJP is committed to fulfill the promise made by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP and has a vision is to bring Kashmir at par with other places of the country and transform the lives of people.” Later koul visited and interacted with party workers at Zadibal area of downtown Srinagar along with State Publicity Secretary Dr. Ali Mohd. Mir State Media Secretary Altaf Thakur, protocol Incharge Kashmir/ Gen. Secretary Srinagar Arif Raja, Vice President Srinagar Ashok Bhat.
