Led by Mool Raj, a prominent social activist from Bishnah, a group of people from Ryal village and Bishnah town called on BJP State Secretary Aseem Gupta and took up their problems and grievances with him which were related to irrigation, provision of ambulance and digging of tube wells etc.
It was brought into the notice of Aseem Gupta by these people that a work to the tune of rupee 80 lakh was undertaken by one of the person from their area and despite the completion of the work, the payment has not been released, which is indeed very unfortunate. Similarly, one of the member of this group, said that there is an urgent need of an ambulance so that the people of their areas can use the same in emergencies. They also blamed the sitting MLA of Bishnah for the dilapidated condition of roads and the need for digging up of tube well in some areas where people do not get adequate water for drinking, irrigation purposes.
Aseem Gupta, on hearing the woes as narrated by these people, took up the matter of release of payment with the Chief Engineer, PHE, who assured to look into it and do the needful at the earliest.
While interacting with these people, Aseem Gupta said that the BJP and its elected representatives, including ministers, have been working round the clock to ensure that the problems being faced by the people are mitigated and there is equitable development of every area of the state. He said that a number of welfare schemes too have been launched by Narendra Modi led NDA government at the Centre and the BJP coalition in the state for the benefit of all the sections of the society and the people must avail the benefits of the same. He also asked them to educate the people around them about the benefits of the historic initiative of demonetization and not to get misled by the false propaganda of Congress in particular.
