After every election, BJP is creating history by winning record number of seats. The victory march which started in 2014 Lok Sabha election, continued to win the confidence of people in all the following elections and now the ULB in Maharashtra and Odisha Panchayat and Zila Parishad elections have further strengthened the party at grass roots level. This was stated by BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma (C.A), while greeting the party activists on the victories in Maharashtra ULB and Odisha Panchayat and Zila Parishad elections, alongwith PHE Minister Sham Choudhary, State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, State General Secretaries Pawan Khajuria and Dr. Narinder Singh, MLC Ramesh Arora and other leaders.
The party activists had assembled at party headquarter to celebrate both the victories, they distributed sweets and danced to the drum beats. The celebrations were organized as part of BJP’s nationwide “Vijay Utsav”.
Sat Sharma further said that out of 10, BJP registered splendid victory in 8 Corporations in Maharashtra Urban Local Bodies election. Similarly, BJP won 306 seats of Zila Parishad panchayat elections with a jump of 270 seats as compared to 2012 in Odisha. While it is the victory of the pro-people policies and programmes of Narendra Modi-led government, the contribution of the party activists too has been splendid. He said that the victories in both the states is also endorsement of the historic decision on demonetization which was taken few months ago with an objective of wiping out corruption, black money and the flow of fake currency.
Programme to celebrate the victory was also held at R.S. Pura, where PHE Minister Sham Choudhary, BJP State Secretary Ch. Vikram Randhawa joined the party activists to extend greetings.

The BJP units at all the district and Mandal levels also celebrated the victories.
