J&K BJP led by Dy. CM Dr. Nirmal Singh along with State BJP Vice-President & District Incharge Parmod Kapahi, State General Secretary Dr. Narinder Singh, Minister for Industries Chander Prakash Ganga, Minister for Education Priya Sethi, Minister for Transport Sunil Sharma, MLAs Dr. Davinder Kumar Manyal, Jeevan Lal and Kuldeep Raj, State Secretary Adv. Vijay and other senior leaders conducted series of exhaustive meetings with the party District Presidents, Mandal Presidents, Organizing Secretaries and other BJP leaders from Kathua, Samba and other areas to promptly address the activists and public.
The leaders participating in the meeting presented the local and other developmental issues before the august panel of senior leaders from the party. Issues related to motor vehicle department like initiating of new bus service, due stoppage at some places, effective provision of healthcare facilities, increasing pace of work for the formation of bunkers, matter of appropriate compensation to the border dwelling persons, ease of doing business in the government departments, issue of shifting KV and many others were raised. Ministers swiftly acted upon their grievances and suggestions duly noting them down and asking officials telephonically as well as issuing written instructions for others.
Dr. Nirmal Singh asked the party men to act as the eyes and ears of the party for the effective good governance of the present dispensation. He stressed that the BJP stands for the welfare and the cause of the down-trodden and the neglected sections of the society. He said that the sole aim of this meeting is to provide an opportunity for direct interaction between ground leader and senior leaders so as to make sure that every public issue is addressed promptly.
Chander Prakash Ganga stressed for coordination between party and public dealing departments so that public issues are promptly taken care of. He prompted party leaders to approach him for any industry related issue and also promote self employment generation among youth.
Priya Sethi stressed on the need to focus on the quality education among the children. She also focused on the initiatives taken for highlighting the tourism sector in the state.
Sunil Sharma deliberated on various policy matters in the Public works department as well as also on increasing rural revenues by various rural development schemes.
Dr. Narinder Singh conducted the whole proceedings of meetings, deliberated that all the Ministers will soon visit the various districts allotted to them for looking after various affairs on the ground level while taking effective measures to sort out the developmental issues.
