Ahead of party’s two days meeting of State Working Committee Meeting to be held at Doda on April 22 & 23, State Office Bearers of BJP under State President & MLA Sat Sharma (C.A), BJP National Vice-President & J&K Prabhari Avinash Rai Khanna, Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh and State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul met at Patnitop.
The meeting commenced with the traditional lighting of lamp by the dignitaries on the dais and reciting of national song.
Sat Sharma, in his inaugural address spoke on the growing graph of BJP after every election and said that this success is just a step towards more victories. The golden period is yet to come for BJP and to achieve the same, every activist has to continue his contribution.
Avinash Rai Khanna, in his concluding address, said that the party activists have to conquer the challenges faced by them in their day to day working of the organization in Jammu & Kashmir. He said that despite facing hardships, there has not been any deviation from their commitment towards taking the programmes and policies to the people and strengthening nationalist forces.
Dr. Nirmal Singh, spoke on the pro-people development programmes and schemes of the state’s coalition and said that the promises made to the people are being fulfilled. “Work culture has been introduced and good governance is being taken to every region and section”, Dr. Singh said and added that liberal funding from the BJP led government at the Centre will make J&K most developed state.
Ashok Kaul discussed different programmes being undertaken and the “Karya Vistaar Yojana”, where more than 2500 activists will leave their homes, families for 15 days to take party’s ideology and principles at grassroots level.
State General Secretary Dr. Narinder Singh spoke on Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhayay birth Centenary year programmes.
