The four member Kashmir Committee of Jammu and Kashmir BJP met Relief Commissioner at Jammu, discussed and highlighted the problems being faced by the government employees who had to migrate to Jammu last month after the disturbances started in Kashmir and they were not feeling safe there.
The members of the committee BJP State General Secretary Dr. Narinder Singh, MLCs Ramesh Arora, Surinder Ambardar and S. Charanjit Singh Khalsa, while briefing the Relief Commissioner about the problems of these employees, said that the situation in valley is not conducive for return and perform their duties. They told the Relief Commissioner that since these employees are totally dependent on their salaries to run their families so their salaries should be released in their favour at Jammu at the earliest. They also stressed upon the Relief Commissioner that such arrangement should be made that every month these employees get their salaries in time and are not compelled to stage dharna or come on roads to protest.
The party has directed these leaders to again visit the valley to take stock of the present situation and it is expected that they will be leaving for Kashmir within a day or two.
