Dangal was organized at the Shrine of Baba Bohri Waala at Village Kotli Mian Fateh, R.S Pura .Member of Legislative Assembly Constituency from R.S.Pura Dr. Gagan Bhagat was the Chief guest on the occasion. The Dangal Committee apprised the Legislator that the Dangal is being organized every year in the memory of Baba Bohri Waala who blessed the people with his sermons and spiritual powers, people from far flung area and all walks of life including from outside the state used to visit him to seek his blessings. Dr Gagan Bhagat while speaking on the occasion congratulated the winner of the Dabgal “ Bothu Pehalwaan ” who hailed from Sarore near Badi Brahmna and said that he is the inspiration from the youths of R.S Pura and pour State .Our State needs such youths as there is enormous talent especially in the rural area of our state. He stressed that now the biggest challenge for our youths is to protect themselves from the menace of Drugs which is the main weapon used by our enemies to target the upcoming generation .He also assured that the youths who are interested in wrestling or in any others ports, the facility of the professional sports coaching for these sports is being provided at the Sardar Bana Singh Indoor Stadium at R.S Pura band more Sports is being included in the list so that the boys and girls who are interested in Sports may save their time in travelling to Jammu. Later on Dr. Gagan Bhagat was honored by the Dangal committee, the Wrestlers who participated in the Dangal hailed from Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and other parts of Jammu & Kashmir. Chodhary Bothu Ali was declared as winner who hailed from Sarore near Bari Brahmna, while runner up Soma hailed from Jullandhar. Om Prakash, Surinder Singh, Bodh Raj ,Devender Sharma, Bishan Dass , Ranbir Singh and others were present on the occasion.
