BJP State Mahila Morcha led by its State President Purnima Sharma visited Sarwal Hospital along with the Morcha General Secretary Veenu Khanna and other senior Mahila morcha leaders to know about the Pregnant Women’s problems.
Purnima Sharma, while speaking during the visit, said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has led India into new era of personal well being, status and self realization for the women folk of the Nation. She said that PM Modi has very high regards for the women and considers every woman as his daughter, sister or mother and is working on every front to safe guard the interests of the women. She said that present Cabinet of PM Modi proves that he has given space to the women in the crucial decision making for the Nation. In the similar fashion, she stated that PM Modi has started many flagship programmes for the women like “Sukanya Samridhi Yojna”, “Ujjawala Yojna”, “Janani Suraksha Yojna” and many others.
Purnima Sharma said that, it has been decided that on the 9th of every month, free check up and free medical aid will be provided to pregnant ladies as per their requirements. She visited the ailing women patients in the hospital and asked them for any assistance they need regarding their treatment and ensured that they will take every possible step to address their concers. She also appreciated the role of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Hospital Sarwal and all the Doctors of Gynaecology division, who are doing appreciable job for the pregnant women as well as other lady patients. She added that unless the women folk of the society is not healthy, one cannot dream of a healthy society.
Hospital visit was coordinated by Veenu Khanna. Neena, Parveen, Shailja, Kamla, Sangeeta, Veena, Kusam, Vidya, Amma and others were among the prominent Mahila Morcha leaders present in the visit.
