In continuation of party’s different programmes under “Jan Swabhimaan Abhiyan” aimed at protesting the approach of Congress and Leftists over JNU incident and seek blessings of Almighty God for giving good sense to Congress National Vice-President Rahul Gandhi to shed love for anti-national elements, BJYM under its State President Dr. Suresh Ajay Magotra, organized havan yagya at Pt. Premnath Dogra Chowk with BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma (C.A) as Chief Guest.
Sat Sharma, while speaking on the occasion, said that the recent incident in Jawahar Lal Nehru University (JNU) was very unfortunate and even more unfortunate had been the role of some opposition parties, Congress in particular. Vice-President of Congress Rahul Gandhi got totally exposed after he reached the prestigious institution and took the side of those who raised anti-national slogans. “Instead of condemning the incident, Rahul Gandhi acted as a supporter, which is highly condemnable and display of his love for such elements which pose threat to the unity and integrity of the country”, Sat said and added that today’s havan was an effort to seek good sense for leaders like Rahul Gandhi and others. He also dismissed the allegations on BJP acting as dictator and said that in fact it had been the Congress which adopted such approach and imposition of emergency in 1975 was one such example and expressed hope that from today onward God will show right direction to Rahul Gandhi and induce patriotism in his mind and soul.
BJYM State President Dr. Suresh Ajay Magotra, on this occasion, said that the youth of Jammu and Kashmir under the banner of BJYM is against such support of Rahul Gandhi to anti-nationals and prayed to God to shower some good sense to Rahul Gandhi.
