BJP will usher new era of development in state: Manhas

Member Parliament Rajya Sabha Shamsher Singh Manhas reiterated that BJP is committed to fulfill the promises made with the people of country and will usher new era of development in Jammu and Kashmir. Many development activities have been speedup so that same can be completed in stipulated time. Continuing the development activities in city periphery area, MP (RS) Shamsher Singh Manhas today started two development works in Ward No 59 of Jammu Municipal area.
MP (RS) Shamsher Singh Manhas kick started the development work at Ward No. 59 of Paloura. He started laying of tile works near Peer Baba and upgradation of different lanes and drains at Mohalla Khajuria with an estimated cost of Rs 10 lac. The development works would be carried out by Jammu Municipal Corporation under Stage contracts.
After starting the development works, Manhas while addressing the gathering said that development works have been started on the recommendation of the general public to cater the basic needs of the area. BJP is committed to provide better facilities by upgradding the drainage system, tiling of lanes, potable drinking water and power infrastructure.
Manhas said thumping majority in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand has proved that people has endorsed the development agenda of Prime Minister Narinder Bhai Modi in country. Schemes launched by the Prime Minister like Jan dhan yojana, Ujjawala yojna, Sukanya Samridhi Yojna and welfare schemes for the farmers of country has benefitted the down trodden and neglected people of country.
He reiterated that BJP will usher new era of development in Jammu and Kashmir. He said the development started today would be completed upto end of March and people will utilized the better facilities. On this occasion Xen JMC Pabodh Sharma, AEE Varinder Pathania, Sanjay Gupta Ward-President, Joginder Singh Chib Distt. Vice president BJP, Ashok Singh Chib BJP state working member, Joginder Manhas, Satish Kumar, Sanjay Singh, Vineet Manhas, Rishu Kumar and Sunny Jamwal were also present.
