Stating that the almost clean sweep by BJP in Chandigarh Municipal Corporation elections is the massive endorsement of the programmes and policies of Narendra Modi government at the Centre, BJP State Secretary Aseem Gupta said that the Congress has faced one more blow. He said that from 2014 onwards, BJP has been achieving success in every election while Congress and other parties are being further pushed to the wall.
“The splendid victory in Lok Sabha, followed by successive wins in elections of Assemblies and Urban Local Bodies, is the reflective of the mindset of the voters who have made up their mind to contribute and help Narendra Modi in making the country Congress Mukt”, Aseem said and added that with every election, Congress in particular is fast losing ground and the faith of the people across the country.
Aseem Gupta said that the successive victories of BJP is also outcome of the fact that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been serving the nation selflessly and launching mega developmental projects and welfare schemes aimed at bringing progress and prosperity in the country. He said that the Congress ruled the country for decades together but is not in a position to regain the faith of the masses, the reasons being best known to its leadership.
The recent historic decision on demonetization has been widely appreciated and the trust of the people got more strengthened in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The people got convinced that Narendra Modi is working towards fulfilling his promise of making India a corruption free country but the opposition parties have been opposing it since day first, which has also sent a message to the public that Congress has turned issueless and left with just work of opposing every step of the Modi government, without knowing the beneficial impact on the country and its people, he added.
The BJP leader appealed the people to support BJP led NDA government in its drive against corruption, black money and fake currency and do not get misled by the false and baseless propaganda unleashed by Congress. He expressed hope that the people will get united to defeat Congress in every election and contribute in further strengthening BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
