The Deputy Chief Minister,Dr Nirmal Singh has condoled the demise of Sh. Bajraj Madhok, a veteran leader and founder member of Jan Sangh who passed away in Delhi yesterday after a brief period of illness.
Describing him a leader of high integrity,Dr Singh said that he has contributed immensely in the socio-political sphere of the country since last six decades selflessly.He also worked tirelessly for the uplift of weak and downtrodden sections of society besides being involved in other Philanthropic activities as well, the Deputy Chief Minister added.
Dr Singh said that he was one of the founding members of RSS in State besides being actively involved in the formation of Jan Singh and also Praja Parishad. Mr. Madhok was born in Skardu ,studied In Lahore and taught as lecturer in Srinagar.
