Remembering Pandit Prem Nath Dogra on the eve of his 134th birth anniversary, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior leader and Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh said late Pandit Prem Nath Dogra was a visionary leader, who has contributed tremendously in the socio-political field of the state and country as well.
“Late Pandit Prem Nath Dogra has a visionary leader, who has immensely contributed in the socio-political field in the country,” he said.
Welcoming the government of India’s announcement to appoint an interlocutor on Kashmir, Dr Singh said that all the stakeholders should understand the need to end the sufferings of the people of Kashmir.
“It should be a concern of all of us to take the state out of the vicious cycle of uncertainty, acrimony and violence,” he said, adding, BJP was always in favour of peaceful talks from the then BJP senior leader and former Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee to present government.
“PM Narendra Modi has also promised to carry forward the mission of Vajpayee ji,” he said.
