Minister of Commerce & Industries, Jammu and Kashmir Government, Chander Prakash Ganga, during his scheduled sitting at BJP office held public darbar, where various deputations and a large number of people drawn from different sections of the society met him and took up their problems and grievances with him. A deputation of weavers of Jammu region represented by Bal Krishan Koul, State Convenor of BJP Weaver Cell, discussed issues pertaining to weavers and artisans. They also demanded establishment of Weavers Service Centre at Jammu for the convenience of the people associated with the trade.
nother deputation from ST Community presented their Charter of Demands regarding their development works in their concerned area. They were led by Haji Taz Mohammed and Nek Mohammed.
Besides this, many activists of the party and a large number of youth urged upon the minister to formulate a policy to attract the private sector for adjustment of unemployed youth in the Industries and manufacturing units.
Chander Prakash Ganga heard the grievances patiently and assured that whatever has been brought into his notice will be taken up with the concerned authorities for appropriate action.
While speaking to the deputationists and the youth on this occasion, Chander Prakash Ganga said that the party has provided a platform to the party activists and the general public for direct interaction with its ministers so the woes of the people are raised at highest level and mitigated.
He said that the Narendra Modi government at the centre and the BJP coalition in the State have been working towards development and welfare of the people. An era of development and progress has started in the state, social and economic upliftment of the weaker sections, downtrodden, women, youth, farmers etc is on prime agenda of both the governments.
