Ashok Koul, on this occasion, said that like other two regions of the state, Jan Sampark yatra has been successful in the valley. It has happened for the first time that people in large numbers were out to accompany the Yatra in their respective areas. It indicates that the BJP is fast strengthening its roots in every part of Kashmir. The recent programmes of joining of Kashmir youth in BJP at Anantnag and Budgam is also due to the change in the mindset of the valley people who have realised that standing with BJP would mean development, peace, progress and prosperity and end of the miseries of common citizen.

Ashok Kaul said that the party activists have to gear up their activities and reach the masses across length and breadth of Kashmir to counsel the people not to get misted by the slogans of Hurriyat and provoking statements of the leaders of regional parties, NC in particular “We have to make people realize that the stone pelting is the handiwork of a handful of people who are exploiting the innocent youth and using them to come on roads and indulge in stone pelting”, Ashok Koul said and added that the anti-national elements operating on the dictates from across the border need to be exposed and given a befitting reply.
