One day Working Committee Meeting of Jammu Rural district was held at Dansal, which started with the inaugural ceremony of garlanding the portraits of BJP ideologues and lighting of traditional lamp by BJP State Vice-President Bharat Bhushan, State General Secretary Dr. Narinder Singh, State Secretary & District Prabhari Aseem Gupta, State Working Committee Member Nand Kishore, District President Omi Khajuria, Kissan Morcha State President Rajinder Singh Chib, BJYM State General Secretary Vikas Choudhary.
The daylong meeting had different sessions addressed by individual leaders besides reporting by the District and Mandal teams of BJP, BJYM, Kissan Morcha, Mahila Morcha and Anusuchit Jaati Morcha.
Bharat Bhushan spoke on the contribution of the BJP activists in rural areas in strengthening it by their commitment. He said that the people get associated with it due to its clear policy of justice to all and appeasement to none.
Dr. Narinder Singh spoke on the history of BJP and its achievements in just 36 years of coming into existence. He gave various instances when the party had to pass through hard times but did not compromise on basic ideology and principles.
Aseem Gupta, while addressing the meeting, said that BJP is not only a political party but mission which works for promoting nationalism and uniting the people to defeat the nefarious designs of anti-social and anti-national elements. He said that our cadre is real strength of the party and we feel pride of being member of such an organization.
Nand Kishore spoke on various welfare schemes launched by the Narendra Modi government at the centre and BJP coalition in the state.
Omi Khajuria presented details related to the political and organizational activities being undertaken during the last three months in the Jammu Rural District.
Rajinder Singh Chib briefed the meeting about the schemes which has been exclusively initiated for the economic upliftment of the farmers.
District General Secretaries Mukesh Sharma and Pawan Singh and Presidents of All Morchas also attended the meeting besides members of the district working committee.
