Led by BJP senior leader and prominent social activist Subhash Sharma, a deputation of a large number of people drawn from various localities of Janipur called on BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma (C.A) to apprise him about the need of early completion of work of road and nallah passing through their area. They told the MLA that during the recent rains and resultant floods, there were damages to the main road of Excelsior Lane besides washing away of the walls and bed of nallah flowing through the area which was over flooded and also caused death of young girls.
Sat Sharma, while assuring every kind of help in getting the damaged road and nallah constructed at the earliest, said that whatever works have been brought into his notice are already in the pipeline and under serious consideration adding that the people will soon get respite.
The MLA said that the work was delayed only because of the monsoons and since it is over now, the JMC has been directed to start the same without any delay. He also told them that even DC, Jammu, too has been asked to ensure that the work is started and completed soon.
Prominent among those who called on the MLA included Pt. Radhey Sham, S.K. Thapa, Ashok Khar, Joginder Sharma, Rahul Shama and Lal Chand Sharma.
