Jugal,Gagan,Daljeet highlights �PMFBY� at the Kissan Mela in R.S Pura

12thSeptember 2016. Member of Parliament from Jammu Poonch Loksabha Jugal Kishore Sharma , Member of Legislative Assembly from R.S.Pura Dr. Gagan Bhagat and Vice Chairman of Kissan Advisory Board Daljeet Chib jointly inaugurated �Kissan Mela� at R.S Pura in the Campus of SKUAST. The achievements and various schemes of the Union govt. was discussed with the farmer community in the auditorium of Krishi Vigyan Kendra in the SKUAST Campus, R.S Pura.While addressing the farmers, officers and others M.P Jugal Kishore Sharma highlighted the achievement of the Union government and he threadbare discussed the benefits of the said schemes , which were exclusively meant for the common man who has been betrayed by the previous successive governments in the centre. He said that it is nearly two and half years of the Union government and none of its Ministers or M.Ps have been either involved in any type of corruption and the model of good governance can be visualized by the people themselves every government scheme is now widely publicized so that the people who reside in the remote areas could avail the benefits of these C.S.S. While speaking on the occasion M.L.A from R.S Pura Constituency Dr.Gagan Bhagat said that since several years there were several insurance schemes launched by the union government, but they were only on records and the farmer community has been suffering from that time and till date, he also hailed the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojna (PMFBY) for its low premium rate and hassle free features which would definitely prove beneficial for the farmer community, while taking on the state government he raised the issue of Kissan Credit Cards (K.C.C)and said that the farmers are being ignored and he will not tolerate this as he has won from R.S Pura due to the vote casted to Bhartiya Janta Party by these poor farmers and the government ,concerned ministry along with the officials of the Agricultural department should take it seriously , he appealed to the M.P Jugal Kishore to intervene in this matter and discuss the issue of K.C.C with the C.M and Minister Incharge soon as possible as many of those farmers have been living in very fragile economic conditions and they have lot of hope from the BJP govt. He further maintained that the haphazard constructions in R.S Pura along the road side and in the Basmati growing area is a cause of great concern, he immediately demanded a Blanket ban on these constructions in the form of Banquet Halls and Showrooms of influential persons due to which the world famous basmati growing area is in danger due to the mushroom growth of these concrete forests, he even demanded an order from the revenue department and agricultural department in this regard then only the erosion of agricultural land by the mafia will be tackled. Daljeet Singh Vice Chairman of the Kissan Advisory Board highlighted the work done by the Board for the welfare of the Farmers in the last one year, he said that BJP is the only political party which care for the farmer community and he assured Dr.Gagan Bhagat and the farmers present in the auditorium that the issue of K.C.C and the Basmati Land encroachment will be taken seriously and in the next few days he will meet C.M who happens to be the Chairperson of the Kissan Advisory Board and apprise her the issues discussed in the Kissan Mela held at R.S Pura and the grievances of the farmer community from R.S Pura Constituency. V.C of the SKUAST Dr.Pradeep Sharma also praised the Union govt. for gifting the scheme like PMFBY to the farmer community. On the occasion Dr.Narinder Singh, C.A.O Jammu Rattan Lal Bhagat, S.D.A.O R.S Pura, Miran Sahib, officials from Horticulture, Sericulture, Animal Husbandry, Social forestry, progressive Farmers, S.H.O R.S Pura, Tehsildaar R.S Pura and large number of Farmers from R.S Pura were present.
