Large number of people met Kohli, apprised about their problems

Under BJP’s schedule of daily sitting of a minister at Jammu, a large number of people belonging to different areas of Jammu and adjoining towns, met Minister for Animal, Sheep Husbandry & Fisheries Abdul Ghani Kohli at Kachi Chawni Office, apprised him of their day to day problems and sought his intervention for solving the same. These problems were related to electricity, water, ration, setting up of veterinary hospitals in rural areas.
The Minister, while taking the narrated problems one by one, took them with the heads of the concerned departments and issued on the spot instructions to do the needful so that the people are not made to suffer. As far opening of veterinary hospitals, Kohli assured that the matter will be raised by his ministry with the government.
Abdul Ghani Kohli, while speaking on the occasion, said that as per the party decision, every minister is sitting at Kachi Chawni every day because it is easily accessible centrally located place, where people can reach without any hesitation or hindrance, who otherwise may be reluctant to go to the residences or offices of the ministers.
Kohli said that the party is very concerned towards the problems of the people as well as their welfare and the coalition government too is working round the clock to ensure that the people are provided required basic amenities for which every department has been directed to adopt people friendly approach, listen to them and immediately take effective measures to mitigate the sufferings of the public. He also appealed the people of Jammu not to get misled by the false and baseless propaganda unleashed by opposition parties and some elements, who can not digest the fact that PDP-BJP coalition government has wiped out corruption and there is good governance in the state.
Speaking on the departments under him, Kohli said that many schemes, even centrally sponsored Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojna are being given practical shape. Every effort is being made to increase the production of eggs for which some hatcheries are also going to be set up and it will also give employment to youth. For fisheries enhancement also, some steps are being taken that too by ways of hatcheries.
