It is for the first time that National President of the party is undertaking visits at the lowest level in the hierarchy of activists and carrying out tours of every state of one, two or three days duration. The BJP National President Amit Shah will be visiting the state of Jammu and Kashmir for two days and in total he will spent 95 days on touring different states across the country.
This was stated by Arvind Menon, BJP All Departments & Projects National Incharge, while addressing an advance meeting of party senior leaders, who are heading various departments and projects of Jammu & Kashmir unit in view of the forthcoming visit of National President to the State.
The meeting was convened and chaired by BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma.
Sat Sharma, in his address, said that such advanced meetings carry significance as the party activists get active and feel charged to whole heartedly accept the deficiencies and make effective efforts to ensure that the things are set in right direction for achieving the desired results. The Departments & Projects help the party to get further strengthened among people associated with different fields of the society. It also takes the programmes and policies of the party at District, Mandal and Booth levels. He said that India has entered Narendra Modi era where Modi wave has swept all beyond boundaries and the state of Jammu and Kashmir too has been influenced by the nationalist and pro-people policies and programmes of his government and the contribution of the departments and projects in this connection has been very positive and fruitful.
Arvind Menon, while addressing the meeting, said that various departments and projects in the organization are of great importance as they familiarize the party workers at ground level with the programmes and policies and prepare them to achieve progress of the organization. The idea to setup various departments and projects in the organization are a master stroke carried out by PM Narendra Modi and National President Amit Shah. He said that the meeting has been invited to take stock of the functioning of the party and its different organs, including departments and projects, so that any short fall or deficiency is set right for an effective presentation before the visiting National President Amit Shah on April 29 and 30 this month.
State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, on the occasion, said that the during the two days visit of Amit Shah, the meetings at different levels would be held and every activist of the party has to devote more time and energy so that the working of the party gets recognition. He also asked for regular contact and coordination among departments & projects.
