BJP State President & MLA Jammu West, Sat Sharma, along with State General Secretary Harinder Gupta, addressed a Press Conference and conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family of martyr DSP of JKP, Mohammad Ayub Pandit and demanded setting up of fast track court to punish the culprits.
Sat Sharma expressed his shock over the gruesome killing of DSP Mohd. Ayub, who was stripped and stoned to death while performing his duty to protect the public on the auspicious night of ‘Shab-e-Qadr’ outside the Jamia Masjid. He said that DSP was performing his duty while the shameless act was performed, which is highly condemnable.
Sat said that the morale of militants is at ebb and Pakistan sponsored separatists have always resorted to these type of inhumane acts to thwart the work of security agencies and restrict the return of peace. He said that the Government of J&K has to take cognizance of matter in a serious way so that nobody dares to perform such act against the security forces.
While praying to the Almighty God to grant peace to the victim’s soul, he condoled his family and asked the Government to lessen the grief of family by providing adequate financial support as well as Government job to a member of the family. He said that BJP has always stood for the right people and right cause and supports strict measures in this regard and also demands the setting up of fast track court to punish the culprits involved in the heinous crime against humanity.
Sat Sharma also appealed to the Civil Society of Kashmir to understand the mindset of the anti national elements and get united to defeat their nefarious designs.
“When the tourist season is at the peak in the valley and the holy Yatra of Shree Amarnath ji is going to start soon, a handful of people are indulging in such acts to convey the outside world that Kashmir is not a place to visit”, Sat said and appealed the people not to get misled and instead work in unison to identify and expose such elements which are responsible for creating hurdles in peace and causing the loss of lives and properties.
