MLA Jammu east and party chief whip Rajesh Gupta kick starts the black topping work at Rajiv Basti and Dogra Mohalla Vikram Chowk costing rupees 8.50 lakh.
Rajesh Gupta while addressing the people on the occasion said that our nation is ready for a quantum jump in so far as the eradication of the black money is concerned.The revolutionary step of the Modi government to demonetize the 500 and 1000 rupee notes is a brilliant step to eradicate black money,choke terror funding and finish the menace of fake currency.
Rajesh Gupta said that people have displayed great enthusiasm for this scheme and despite having to wait in cues for exchanging the money they are fully in favour of the move of the Modi govt.
Rajesh Gupta said that it is the bounden duty of every citizen to follow the scheme in letter and spirit and help in the smooth transition from the old to the new system.Upon implementation this scheme has the potential to generate additional resources for the government which can be used to create more facilities for the people and also for employment generation.
