MLA was also accompanied by ADC Anuradha Gupta ,SDM North Avani Lawasa, ZPO Miran Sahib and convenor Hockey Olympics Poonam Kotwal, Maveen Kartar and Harpreet Kour.
The match was played between Army Public School Akhnoor and SOS Harman School. The winner of the match was SOS Harman School.
MLA Rajesh Gupta presented medals to the winning team SOS Harman and silver medal to the runner up Army Public School Akhnoor. The bronze medal was given to Presentation Convent school for attaining 3rd position.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the occasion said that a new culture of sports is emerging in our country in a big way and our women and girl athletes are leading the way.Our women athletes brought laurels to the country and in our state also we have to encourage our youth and particularly girls to make sports as a carrier.
Rajesh Gupta said that we are very serious about the development of sports in our state and in the days to come more initiatives would be taken in this regard.
In the end Rajesh Gupta congratulated the winners and promised all possible help for the development of the sports.
