Jeevan Lal, MLA Bani accompanied by Dr. Bharat Bhushan, Chief Executive Officer, Lakhanpur Sarthal Development Authority, Executive Engineer, Lakhanpur Sarthal Development Authority, Tehsildar Bani & other officials today visited beautiful Sarthal Valley and laid the foundation stone of a tourist hut at Sarthal meadow which has captivity beauty. Dr. Bharat Bhushan, Chief Executive Officer, Lakhanpur Sarthal Development Authority apprised that the Department of Tourism has taken up this work in tune with the resolve of the State Government to develop tourism infrastructure in lesser known & virgin areas. To be constructed with an estimated cost of Rs.37 lakhs, the three bed room Tourist Hut with attached bathrooms & provision for a living room & care-taker’s room will provide facility to the tourists visiting the area from mid April to mid November every year when the climate at Sarthal is pleasant. Besides it will provide facility of stay to the devotees visiting Kailash Kund Yatra which is organised every year in August, September. Jeevan Lal MLA Bani while speaking on the occasion thanked the Tourism Department for raising infrastructure in the area which was very much required. He asked the officials of Lakhanpur Sarthal Development Authority to ensure quality work in a time bound manner. He hoped that Department will take steps to develop more tourism infrastructure in Bani & Sarthal areas. A large number of locals and officials were present on the occasion.
