BJP Senior leader & MLC Sofi Yousuf, alongwith District President Anantnag Rafiq Wani, kick started “Awami Rabta Muhim” in Anantnag to reach out to the rural population and highlight the achievements of Narendra Modi led government at the Centre and BJP coalition in J&K. The motive of the Awami Rabta is to highlight the achievements of Modi led government in the country. Sofi said that the party has decided to take out“Awami Rabta Muhim”to cover the rural areas and educate the local population as to what BJP government under PM Narendra Modi has done for the development of rural areas and the welfare schemes launched for the farmers, particularly PM Fasal Bima Yojana and concessions to youth in dozens of Central sponsored schemes. Party State Media Secretary/ Media Incharge Kashmir, Altaf Thakur was the chief guest on the occasion, while as, District president Rafiq Wani also spoke on the occasion to highlight the achievements of centre govt and state coalition govt. Distrcit Gen. Secretary Ananang Ashiq Hussain Dar, State Vice President Minority Morcha Adv.Wajahat Hussain, District Media secretary Pinka Malik and other party workers were present in the function. The function also held at Kulgam where the state publicty Secretary Dr. Ali Mohd. Mir was the chief guest and the same function was held at Shopian, Pulwama, Bandipora, Ganderbal, Baramulla and Kupwara.
