Making a fervent appeal to the women activists of the party to serve as a bridge between the public and the government, BJP Mahila Morcha District Jammu President Rekha Mahajan today said that it was their duty to reach the masses and educate them about various schemes launched by the Narendra Modi government for the welfare and social security of the women folk.
To felicitate their newly elected President, District Unit of Bharatiya Janata Mahila Morcha organized an impressive program where hundreds of female activists of party participated and showed their enthusiasm after their newly elected President Rekha Mahajan was felicitated by Senior Leaders of BJP. Addressing the gathering, District President Jammu Baldev Billoria congratulated Mrs Mahajan on his election as Mahila Morcha District President and said that the ladies wing of the party played a very crucial role in winning both Parliamentary and Assembly election in the State. He further added that that any organizational work which the high command bestowed on Mahila Morcha was completed by the female activists and he expected that the new President will also work in a well designed way where the cadre should not be ignored and every activist of the party should be taken together by the President in order to strengthen the organization in the coming days. District General Secretary while congratulating BJPMM District President said that he is proud to say that whatever responsibility is given to women be it at home, office or any political party, they have always come out with flying colours and Mrs Mahajan is no exception. With her dedicated efforts she will definitely strethen district unit of women wing, he expressed confidence.

Rekha Mahajan while addressing the gathering said that PDP-BJP Coalition Government in the State has commenced many public welfare schemes and projects. She said that in this Information Technology age, there are fast and reliable means of communication and the works done by the Modi led government at the Centre are reaching every nook and corner of the country and the people are applauding its pro- people, pro-youth and pro-women policies and programmes. Addressing the meeting she urged the party activists to work with more dedication to strengthen the party at grass root level. She highlighted the two years achievements of Modi Government and said that this Government’s maximum policies are meant for upliftment and empowerment of women so women should work whole heartedly in taking these policies to common masses so that they are benefitted and also the propaganda of opposition parties is countered.
